Drew Kirsch showing us how to stay busy and creative!
Stuck at home in their industrial live /work studio in the heart of Venice, CA….director Drew Kirsch and his crew of creative housemates have been making fresh, fun homemade content all through quarantine. Some people bake, some people puzzle, Drew makes weird stop motion short films. There are no rules to quarantine!
Their first installment,”Hand Sanitzer“, is an ode to keeping your hands clean…and not touching your face. Another installment, “Oakwood” is a tribute to their local park (and mine too for a few months a year, back when going out of state was allowed and flying on airplanes was a thing.) If you have some time on your freshly washed hands click on these links and let us know what you think!
Drew’s also released actual work made by himself and his team of professionals before we all had to stay at home. His spot for Batiste is super fun and being on set with Drew and the team in Austin, TX was a blast. Sigh, remember being on set?! Check out his spot here and some BTS. His latest music video for Orville Peck called “Summertime” is an explosion of color and flowers and social distancing since Orville is solo in every shot! Drew Kirsch is an out of the box thinker and being stuck inside has not slowed him down a beat!
