Three Emmy Noms for Nonfiction’s Talent
It’s awards season at The Family! This just in: Nonfiction Unlimited is raking in the Emmy nominations. David Gelb’s Chef’s Table is up for two Emmys this year: Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series and Outstanding Cinematography for a Nonfiction Program. For three seasons, and an upcoming fourth, this series has captivated foodies and casual eaters alike, opening eyes to the endless possibilities of culinary creativity. Also pulling in much-deserved accolades, the Beatle’s doc “Eight Day’s a Week” has nabbed a stunning five nominations, including one for Nonfiction’s Paul Crowder for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program. His beautiful, seamless transitions between streams of photos and live action are a work of art, keeping you enthralled in the back and forth between intense recollections, massive shows, and Ringo Starr pulling shoulder shimmies for the press.
